Beware! Ducks Crossing by Uriel Ofek

A child finds a way to help ducks

Excellent Condition - with light cover rubbing, minor corner/edge wear.

A parade of ducks needs to cross a busy road, and a young boy wants to help them do it safely. His concern leads him to think about how drivers can be warned and what might encourage them to slow down. The familiar setting becomes a small adventure in observation, problem-solving, and caring for animals, with the ducks giving an everyday road sign a very personal meaning. Uriel Ofek’s story is accompanied by illustrations by Aaron Shebo, bringing the people, traffic, and feathered travelers into an inviting picture-book world. Beware! Ducks Crossing offers a gentle shared-reading story about noticing a problem and trying to make a difference.
