Foo Fighters by Mick Wall

From Nirvana's drummer to a rock band's leader

Very Good Condition - Covers show light scuffing, creases and worn corners.

Mick Wall traces Dave Grohl's journey from his years as Nirvana's drummer to his role at the centre of Foo Fighters, one of rock music's most recognisable bands. Drawing on interviews and accounts from musicians and people in the music business, the book explores the ambition, relationships and changing circumstances behind that transformation. It follows the development of Foo Fighters and the challenges of building a new musical identity after the end of Nirvana. Wall's biography combines the band's career story with a portrait of Grohl as a performer, songwriter and driving force in contemporary rock.
