Murray Ball returns to the world of Footrot Flats, where the Dog’s view of life gives everyday farming an unpredictable comic energy. Wal Footrot, neighboring characters, and an assortment of animals share a landscape in which practical work, sporting enthusiasm, and personal schemes seldom proceed exactly as planned. The strips combine visual humor with the Dog’s expressive personality, turning small incidents into lively observations about people and rural life. Footrot Flats 15 continues the collection with another set of familiar characters and farmyard complications. It offers a volume to browse and revisit, enjoying Ball’s drawings and the affection behind his portrayal of a recognizably New Zealand world.
