If you grow your own garden herbs, at some point the plant will bolt and go to seed / flower. You may have picked them fresh and on demand up to that point, but once they bolt you are going to want to harvest them and keep the leaves. This grinder works really well in grinding te dried leaves down for storage and later use. Tested and worked well with coriander, basil, oregano and thyme so far (too coarse for rosemary.).
