Specialist Mathematics Units 1 & 2 (2nd Edition) by Michael Evans, David Treeby, Douglas Wallace and Kay Lipson

Structured mathematics study for Queensland senior secondary learners

This second edition of Specialist Mathematics Units 1 & 2 provides a structured course resource within Cambridge Senior Mathematics for Queensland. Explanations, worked examples and exercises develop the mathematical ideas represented by the edition's syllabus, connecting new concepts with opportunities to practise and apply them. Questions vary in form and demand, encouraging students to move beyond recognising a method towards reasoning through a problem. The presentation brings individual topics into a coordinated study programme, supporting both teaching and independent review. Written by Michael Evans, David Treeby, Douglas Wallace and Kay Lipson, the book offers a substantial reference for learners studying specialist mathematics at this stage of senior secondary education.
