Donatello tells his side of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' early adventures, bringing a thoughtful, inventive perspective to the brothers' emergence from their hidden world. Training, teamwork and the challenges of teenage life become more complicated when the Turtles encounter enemies who cannot be defeated by enthusiasm alone. Donatello's interest in science and building things gives him a distinctive role as he works alongside Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo. Adapted by Michael Teitelbaum, this illustrated chapter book connects the action and humour of the Nickelodeon series with the voice of its technically minded Turtle. Presented as Book Four in the Mutant Origin sequence, it offers young fans a character-focused account of the team's beginnings and developing strengths.
