Unlucky for Some by Jill McGown

A murder case opens the door to deadly revenge

Good Condition - wear to cover, pages are great.

What should have been a lucky night for Wilma Fenton takes a terrifying turn when she notices someone waiting in a dark alley. An eyewitness helps detectives Lloyd and Hill begin their inquiry, but the identity of the victim gives the case an unexpected complication. The dead man is a television personality whose reputation rests on having exposed a dangerous killer years before. That history provokes a challenge from the Anonymous Assassin, turning a murder investigation into a contest with someone eager to demonstrate that he can strike again. Jill McGown brings her detectives into a mystery shaped by publicity, past achievements and revenge, where professional attention can itself become a deadly invitation.
