A celebratory collection of Bogor's gentle forest humour
Fair Condition - Covers are rubbed and creased with a rear retail label and browned page edges. Preliminary pages show heavy dark spotting and staining.
Burton Silver's Bogor cartoons find comedy in a forest world where a logger, small creatures and their surroundings share an unusually expressive life. Visual jokes and the personalities of the characters give everyday encounters a playful, often affectionate quality. This twenty-first anniversary collection brings together a selection of the cartoon's humour, allowing readers to revisit familiar figures or discover the relationships that make the strip distinctive. The drawings give space to both the human character and the wildlife around him, turning simple situations into memorable scenes. The Best of Bogor is a collection for browsing and returning to, celebrating the imagination and observation behind a recognisable New Zealand cartoon world.
