Dog Man: Big Jim Believes by Dav Pilkey

Big Jim's optimism faces an unexpectedly changed city

The heroes' celebrations are interrupted when the Space Cuties From Space return, leaving Dog Man and his friends to discover that their city is no longer behaving as it should. Commander Cupcake, Sprinkles and Mecha Molly join the adventure, while Big Jim's generous outlook raises questions about what believing in yourself and others can accomplish. Saving the day requires courage, cooperation and a willingness to recognise the truth beneath confusing appearances. Dav Pilkey combines comic-book action, expressive drawings and his familiar humour with a story about confidence and integrity. Big Jim Believes continues the Dog Man adventures with an emphasis on the connections between past experience, present choices and trust.
