Sweet Valley Twins: Sneaking Out by Nicole Andelfinger

A forbidden concert tests two very different twins

Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield are thrilled when their favourite band comes to town, but their parents' decision threatens to turn the excitement into a disappointment. Jessica is ready to find a way around the rules, while Elizabeth must decide whether to join her sister or stay within the limits they have been given. The concert becomes another test of the twins' different personalities and the bonds that keep them connected. Nicole Andelfinger adapts Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley world into graphic-novel form, with artwork by Claudia Aguirre giving the school and family situations a lively visual presence. Sneaking Out combines adolescent enthusiasm with the complications of secrecy, responsibility and loyalty to a sibling.
