Cat Kid Comic Club by Dav Pilkey

Young frogs discover that every artist starts somewhere

Good Condition - Covers lightly scuffed, with rubbed/bumped corners and a small chip at upper rear corner. Page edges lightly toned.

Li’l Petey, Molly, and Flippy introduce a group of baby frogs to making comics, but their new pupils quickly discover that creativity can be messy, surprising, and very funny. As ideas become drawings and stories, the club learns to work through disappointment, try different approaches, and recognize that a mistake can lead to something worth keeping. The frogs’ own mini-comics bring a variety of styles into the book, turning their lessons into imaginative adventures of their own. Dav Pilkey combines expressive characters with an encouraging view of artistic practice, inviting readers to enjoy the process as well as the finished result. Cat Kid Comic Club celebrates experimenting, finding a voice, and having the confidence to keep creating.
