A wildly imaginative home with endless distractions

Andy and Terry live in a treehouse with thirteen storeys and an extraordinary collection of ways to avoid getting their work done. There is a swimming pool, a bowling alley and all manner of improbable inventions, along with hazards that make an ordinary day difficult to predict. They are supposed to be creating a book, but telling their story means dealing with everything happening around them first. Andy Griffiths and illustrator Terry Denton combine fast-moving text, cartoons and visual jokes in the opening Treehouse adventure. The result is a celebration of outrageous ideas and comic interruptions, where a simple writing deadline can become the starting point for flying creatures, unexpected visitors and escalating silliness.
